I agree with this statement.

But I also wonder if it is even worth apologizing to certain people in the first place!

Very well-said. I recently had someone apologize to me with a million stories behind the apology. When its a "YES I AM SORRY BUT....", it is to be assumed that the apology is not genuine.

But how many of us really follow that? :) cos we always look at the other person...we always expect the other person to say Sorry...but when it's our turn to say Sorry, we r often busy EXPLAINING our side of the story.

And sometimes, we dun even say anything.

Im a person who likes talk things over...but I hv had friends who dun even respond to wut I hv to say. And that hurts more than anything.
